Cara Craig
Cara Craig's favorite word in teaching is adventure. Every moment in every class is an adventure for her and her students. She began her safari in education in 1995, after graduating from Ball State University. She taught art in the public school system for 5 years, where she had over 1,000 students in 3 elementary schools. Pittsburgh was her next adventure, where she taught art and Spanish at a nursery school and kindergarten. It was then on to Bubbles Academy where she was instrumental in developing the curriculum and teaching art, Spanish, pre-pre school, and their preschool practice classes. Her favorite thing to do is play with her two beautiful daughters. Yellow is Cara’s favorite color and if she could be any animal, she would be a hump back whale.
Lisa Dickinson
Lisa Dickinson began her teaching career in the Chicago Public Schools in 1994. Before entering the world of 4th-6th graders, she obtained her Master’s in Curriculum Development from DePaul University, but truly learned the most from her students, parents, and co-workers. Her learning curve and appreciation for life widened even more when she had her daughter, 41/2 and son, 3. After staying home for three marvelous years to be a mommy, Lisa began her latest passion, teaching toddlers and preschoolers at Bubbles Academy. She never realized just how truly magical the classroom could be until working with this age group. What can beat looking into a group of little one’s smiling faces? Lisa has an extremely supportive and wonderful family and can’t wait to extend it with all of her new LOVEBUGS!
Jaime Mules
Jaime Mules is extremely excited to be a part of the Lovebugs family. In Jaime’s eyes, teaching and spending quality time with children is the next best thing to spending time with her family and friends. Jaime joins Lovebugs after teaching for 3 ½ years at Lake Shore Preparatory School. Her true passion for education and early childhood development was sparked after 11 years of working as a nanny. Jaime was born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Cincinnati. She moved to Chicago in 1999 after High School and she plans on never leaving! She LOVES the city. Jaime has a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Illinois-Chicago, including several hours in Early Childhood Education. Jaime and her husband, Rico live in West Bucktown with their dog, Baxter. Jaime’s favorite thing about teaching is running into her students around town!
